AI tools accentuate recruiting and hiring processes
Two out of three HR professionals are turning to AI tools to revolutionize their recruiting, interviewing, and hiring strategies. It’s not our conclusion but reveals a report by the Society of Human Resources Management.
Surveying 2,366 HR professionals across various US markets, SHRM’s research showcases a resounding enthusiasm for the continued evolution and adoption of AI in the field.

Around 60% of professionals express optimism about AI’s potential to enhance collaboration and effectiveness among employees.
Despite this optimism, one in four HR professionals express concerns about potential job displacement due to AI. However, those working in organizations, utilizing AI, are 16 times more likely to believe that AI transforms existing roles rather than displacing them.
Impact on Talent Acquisition
AI aids in resume screening and candidate communication during interviews, demonstrating its versatility and efficiency.
The primary driver behind AI adoption in talent acquisition? Saving time and boosting efficiency, with respondents citing it as the overwhelming reason. While there are hopes for improving talent identification and diversity, current usage patterns suggest AI is primarily employed to streamline processes rather than drive decision-making.
In conclusion, one in three HR professionals note an improvement in the diversity of their hires through AI integration. Even if the report was done for the US, the trend seems to be similar also in Europe. There are several ways AI can help HR tasks every day, making them easier and better. Using AI not only makes HR work lighter but also makes things better for employees. Plus, it shows how important the role of an HR Specialist is for each business.
